Akaan Taxi brings the taxi stand back to Akaa

A taxi stand is returning to Toijala railway station as a group of local taxi entrepreneurs launches a shared service model. The goal is to improve availability, speed and reliability around the clock.

The unified stand pools local drivers from Akaa, Toijala and Viiala under one number. When demand spikes, peak times are smoothed out through cooperation — drivers know the area and customers get a ride faster.

The opening will be celebrated on Monday 2 February, 6–10 AM, with coffee and conversation. Welcome to Toijala station to meet the drivers and learn about the new service model.
